What Quire50 is
Quire50 is a free web catalogue: a hand-filed record of 833 entries across 22 sections. The name recalls the traditional quire — a gathering of folded sheets bound into a volume — because that is how we work: gathering sites from the open web and binding them into a reference you can actually read.
How entries are filed
Every card is filled in by a person, not a script. We give each site a plain name, a direct link, and a short line on what the site does, then file it in the drawer it belongs to. We review the drawers from time to time and pull cards for sites that have gone offline or changed beyond recognition.
How to submit your site
